AR&PA Portugal, 11-13 October 2019
The Portuguese biennial of AR&PA was founded in 1998, and is organized by Spira, a pioneering modeling company the infrastructure of the country's cultural heritage. Every year the fair is organized in a different city to give value to the diversity of the local cultural heritage. The last edition held in Amarante has hosted about 9,000 visitors and 75 exhibiting entities. This event wants to involve and help the cooperation of sector agents such as public bodies, foundations, companies, studies of architecture and design, thematic accommodation, tour operators, businesses restoration and conservation, universities and training centers specialist. Furthermore, it supports the creation of projects regional regeneration projects. Finally, it is addressed also to a more general public to help him get to know and deepen the rediscovery of national cultural heritage
Monumento Salzburg, 5-7 March 2020
Monumento is an international fair founded in 1973. Yes takes place every two years in Salzburg, with a strategic position both at European and regional level, being located a short distance from the airport and the central station. The fair is of considerable importance for the economy of the region, with a turnover of € 158.4 million. Moreover, the event offers around 1,300 jobs. The center hosts exhibitions, numerous congresses, conferences, concerts, etc. The latest edition of Monument has had 3,000 appearances and 177 exhibitors. In 2017, the exhibition center has received the Austrian certification EcoLabel for Green Meetings and Green Events. In fact, the company implements separate collection for all events, together energy saving measures and CO2 reduction for the environmental sustainability and the reduction of pollution. The Salzburg Congress Center has reduced barriers to a minimum architectures to guarantee everyone access to the spaces and favors priority entries for users with reduced mobility.
Florence Art and Restoration Fair, 13-15 MAY 2020
The Florence Art and Restoration Fair is an international event which takes place every two years in Florence. It aims to stimulate synergies between Italian companies and ester on the latest research. It puts the attention on the importance to invest in the cultural sector, to promote excellence artistic, craft and Italian production on foreign markets. Significant importance is given to the usability of the culture for the young population groups and specialization in the management of Cultural Heritage. The fair, inaugurated in 2009, in its 6th edition, held in May 2018, it hosted 160 exhibitors in the 920 m2 of surface with a public response of about 19,000 visitors. The fair is an opportunity to establish relationships with professional figures national and international organizations to undertake collaborations on the subject of technological evolution, restoration of works, greater usability of culture for all visitors and promotion of artistic, craft and production excellences Italian.
AR&PA Spain, October 2020
AR&PA is one of the main European fairs in this sector and is the most important of the Iberian peninsula. Precisely for this is held every other year in Spain and Portugal. The Spanish edition is organized by the Castilla region y Leòn in the city of Valladolid. It has an exhibition space of approximately 10,000 m2 divided into 3 rooms and at each edition the set-up is changed to base to the chosen theme. The last edition hosted 285 exhibitors divided into 121 stands with about 20,000 visitors. The fair turns out be an important moment of meeting and discussion between professionals and institutions involved in protection and management of cultural heritage. Since 2008, the fair has been carrying out the AR&PA for program Everyone to ensure greater accessibility for people with different disabilities.
